6 - February 12, 2008 The SCAA Members Annual Show This exhibit features a variety of themes and media from SCAA members. “Let it Show” works will be displayed in a mini exhibit at the Fire and Ice Festival. Reception - Friday, January 11, 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. February 17 - March 4, 2008 Somerset County Elementary Schools Exhibit Eleven school districts in our county exhibit delightful visual work from grades K - 5. Works from Art Seeds students will also be on display. Reception - Sunday, February 24, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. March 9 - March 25, 2008 Somerset County Junior High Schools Exhibit Junior High students, grades 6-8, from each school district in our county will exhibit their art. Imaginative, expressive works will fill the gallery spaces. Reception - Sunday, March 16, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. March 30 - April 15, 2008 Somerset County High Schools Exhibit Grade 9-12 students’ art works from each county school district are featured. Two and three-dimensional creations show their growing technical skills. Reception - Sunday, April 6, 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. April 20 - May 13, 2008 Somerset Area School District Exhibit This exhibit gives a closer look at hometown SASD students’ artwork, grades 1-12. Typically this show has the largest number of entries of all our exhibits. Reception - Sunday, April 27, 2 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. May 18 - June 17, 2008 Pencil Artists Exhibit Reception - Friday, May 23, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. |

22 - July 29, 2008 The SCAA Juried Art Exhibit This annual juried show features approximately 100 art works from a wide region. Awards recognize outstanding examples in different mediums. Reception - Sunday, June 29, 2 - 4 p.m. August 3 - September 2, 2008 Paul Zufall & Irene Koontz Exhibit Reception - Friday, August 8, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. September 5 - October 7, 2008 Linda Dugan, Fred Will, Christian Miller, Rebecca Smith Exhibit. Reception - Friday, September 12, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. October 12 - November 12, 2008 Forbes Trail Exhibit Griffing, Hyde, & Blough Reception - Friday, October 17, 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. November 22 – December 21, 2008 Christmas Craft Shoppe Creations by local artists and craftsmen are available for purchase just in time for the holidays!
