Join well-known local papercutter Kathy Reed to learn a few basic techniques and tips that will lead you to the fun part of folding (or not) and cutting paper designs. As your confidence grows you can add your own inventive variations. Take away areas of the paper, called negative spaces, using scissors or a craft knife, and you end up with more than you started with -- imaginative, personal shapes. This is how people made paper "love tokens" before store-bought greeting cards. It's an inexpensive and fun hobby!
