For over three decades, Laurel Arts has strived to fulfill its mission of providing quality
arts opportunities for the Laurel Highlands. Each year we serve over 40,000 participants through
a diverse schedule of programs that includes exhibitions, classes, Somerfest, dance classes,
various performances, and special events. Since 1975, Laurel Arts’ membership has grown to
include over 700 individuals, families, and businesses.
Laurel Arts maintains offices, galleries, and workshops in a historic farmhouse. In the fall
of 2009, we opened the Education and Dance Center, located in the Georgian Place Suites. Our
new facility houses our dance programs, STUDIO KIDS preschool, expanded performing and
visual arts classes, and a retail shop selling dance and art supplies.
